Admissions Process

Admissions Process at AIMS

To begin your journey toward a fulfilling and successful career in healthcare, you must first begin the admissions process. If you haven't already done so, please contact our admissions team to learn how we can help you achieve your career goals.

Meet the Admissions Team

The first step in the admissions process is to attend a virtual info session. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about the college, your program of interest, and the admissions requirements. Based on your background and experience, we will help you decide on the career and program that is the best fit for you.

School Tour

After you've met with the admissions team, you are welcome to schedule a tour of our campus. This will give you the opportunity to see our classrooms and medical labs up close. You may even get the chance to see some of our classes in action.

Student Accounts and Financial Aid

After attending an info session, your program specialist can help you set up a virtual meeting with a financial aid advisor. During the meeting, you'll learn about payment plan options, federal student aid, and other funding options.

Application and Enrollment

Once you have attended an info session, gathered all of the necessary information, submitted your FAFSA (if applicable), and decided on a program, the next step is to submit your application.

Selective Programs

Some programs at AIMS Education have a selective admissions process. Students must apply and be formally accepted into these programs. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Admission is offered to applicants who are considered the most qualified for success in their chosen field of study. Here is a list of programs with a selective admissions process:

Application Steps for Open Enrollment Programs

AIMS Education follows a rolling admissions policy for all open enrollment programs. Students may apply and enroll once an official start date has been published. Applications are not accepted for programs without a scheduled start date. Admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis to applicants who meet all admission requirements. Enrollment remains open until the program reaches full capacity.

The open enrollment process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Submit Online Application
Begin the process by submitting your online admissions application.

Step 2: Schedule Enrollment Appointment
Schedule a virtual appointment to complete required enrollment documents and review next steps.

Step 3: Take Entrance Exam
Schedule and complete the online entrance exam before your enrollment appointment.

Step 4: Submit Pre-Enrollment Documents
Upload all required pre-enrollment documents to your applicant portal.
Note: Pharmacy Technician students must submit a clear criminal background check before enrolling.

Step 5: Complete Enrollment
During your appointment, you will complete an interview (if not done earlier), finalize your payment or financial aid arrangements, pay the $200 administrative fee, and sign your enrollment contract.

Step 6: Submit Remaining Documents
All outstanding admission and health-related documents must be submitted by the first day of class.

Application Steps for Selective Programs

AIMS Education uses a structured admissions process to evaluate each applicant’s readiness for success. While specific requirements may vary by program, the general process for selective programs includes the following steps:

Application Process

Step 1: Submit Online Application
Begin the application process by submitting the online application. A link to the application will be provided after attending a program information session.

Step 2: Take Entrance Exam
Schedule your entrance exam, which can be taken either on campus or online. A $28 proctoring fee (via Meazure Learning) applies to online exams.

Step 3: Submit Application Documents
Upload all required application documents through your applicant portal.

Step 4: Complete Pre-Screening Interview
Applicants who pass the entrance exam will be invited to a pre-screening interview. This step confirms that all requirements have been met and gathers additional information for the admissions file.

Step 5: Complete Application Interview
After the pre-screening interview, applicants will complete a formal application interview.

Step 6: Admissions Decision
Once all steps are complete, your application will be reviewed by the admissions committee. Only complete applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.

Please Note: Applicants to the Cardiovascular Technology (CVT), Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS), and MRI Technology programs will undergo an additional screening step after submitting the online application. Only those who pass this screening will be invited to take the entrance exam.

Enrollment Process

Step 1: Schedule Enrollment Appointment
Accepted students have two weeks to confirm their spot and schedule an enrollment appointment.

Step 2: Complete Enrollment
During your appointment, you will finalize your payment or financial aid arrangements, pay the $200 administrative fee, complete all required enrollment documents, and sign your enrollment contract. All enrollment steps must be completed within four weeks of the acceptance notification.

Step 3: Submit Remaining Documents
All remaining documents must be submitted by the first day of class. Admissions documents must be submitted via the student portal, and health documents (physical exam, TB test if required, and immunizations) must be submitted via Magnus Health.

Application Deadlines for Selective Programs

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is strongly encouraged. Exceptional applicants may receive early acceptance. All other decisions will be made after the published application deadline. If a program reaches capacity before the deadline, applications may close early.

Please Note: Applicants to the CVT, DMS, and MRI programs will undergo an initial screening after submitting the online application. Only those who pass the screening will advance to the entrance exam stage.
